You’re editing your first novel. Drifting through piles of wordy driftwood and lamenting the ebbing creativity with the turn of each crinkled page.

What is a writer to do?

Well, you could do something mental like signing up for NaPoWriMo (National Poetry Writing Month). Sure! Why not commit to writing 1 poem per day throughout the month of April? I can’t see that having any negative impact on your mental well-being.

So, if you want to see how terrible I am at writing poetry, a skill that I have barely practiced since middle school, then make sure you check back here daily or follow me on social media.

Best of luck to all the other NaPo’s out there in the interwebs. Hats off to you.
